Overview
The experience begins very early, arriving at Chichen Itza in the first hours of the morning, when the light is soft, the atmosphere serene, and the site is still free of crowds. Accompanied by a private guide, you will explore this sacred city at a leisurely pace and in depth, discovering its secrets at this privileged time of day.
The journey continues to Cobá, an ancient Mayan city surrounded by jungle, giving it a much more mystical and immersive feel than other archaeological sites. With its Nohoch Mul pyramid, one of the tallest structures on the Yucatán Peninsula at approximately 42 meters high, it reveals the grandeur of a powerful ceremonial center nestled amidst the tranquility of the jungle. Unlike Chichén Itzá, the experience here feels more intimate and adventurous. To reach the pyramid, you can choose to go by bicycle for a more active experience, or if you prefer a more relaxed pace, you can travel in a tuk-tuk or tricitaxi, a picturesque traditional vehicle of the region.
